"極東文身"
極東 Kyokutou
(Far East)
文身 Bunshin
(Old japanese tattoo)
Kyokutou Bunshin means this.
Kyokutou stands for far east and Bunshin is old Japanese tattoos.
At Kyokutou Bunshin, we prioritize Japanese tradition, Japanese spirit and spirituality and strive to provide meticulous service.
Kyokutou Bunshin is based on Amakusa, an island located between Nagasaki and Kumamoto prefectures in Kyushu, western Japan.
Amakusa retains a rich history and diverse culture, where you can experience the nostalgia of Japan.
The most famous aspect is related to the introduction of Christianity.
You can experience various historical backgrounds through Sakitsu Church, the World Heritage Site.
In addition, much of the raw material for famous Japanese pottery has mined in Amakusa, so there are many pottery kilns, and places where you can have hands-on experiences are scattered throughout the area.
There are no large commercial facilities, and the townscape reminiscent of the 1970s will offer you a wonderful time away from the hustle and bustle of the city side.
Amakusa is connected to Nagasaki by ferry.
If you are lucky, you might see wild dolphins through the trip.
You can also reach the popular city of Fukuoka in Japan by plane in 35 minutes.
We look forward to seeing you here in Amakusa.
